MINH DANG’s MIDDLE SCHOOL JOURNEY AT VSTAR SCHOOL: A STEPPING STONE TO THE FUTURE
MINH DANG’s MIDDLE SCHOOL JOURNEY AT VSTAR SCHOOL: A STEPPING STONE TO THE FUTURE
As the elementary school years came to an end, Minh Đăng embarked on a new chapter in middle school at Vstar, facing new expectations and challenges. This period marked significant growth and development, where Minh Đăng continued to pursue a passion for sports while also striving in academics and building essential life skills.
Academic Journey
Entering the 6th grade at Vstar School, Minh Đăng faced a new learning environment with more complex subjects and higher demands for self-study. However, the hard work and determination, along with the support of my parents, helped me overcome initial difficulties. Study hours, homework, and exam preparations presented many challenges and gradually became significant pressures. Despite this, in the 6th grade, I achieved a decent academic performance, though balancing studies with sports was quite challenging.
I always set high goals for myself, both in sports and academics. The engaging lessons from teachers, lively group discussions, and self-study hours in the school library helped me expand my knowledge and develop my thinking. I understand that education is a solid foundation for achieving grand dreams in the future, especially with the upcoming journey of studying in the US!
Passion for Sports
Throughout middle school, Minh Đăng’s passion for sports remained undiminished. I continued to train in favorite sports like swimming, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Tennis, in particular, is the sport where I have invested the most time and effort. I regularly attended training sessions under the guidance of Coach Hảo, who has always supported and provided the best opportunities for me to develop my skills.
Additionally, participating in school sports clubs offered Minh Đăng many exciting and valuable experiences. Friendly matches and school sports tournaments were not only opportunities to showcase my talents but also helped me develop team spirit, leadership skills, and competitive resilience.
Life Skills and Independence
My parents have also placed special emphasis on developing life skills and independence as essential preparations for studying abroad in the US. As the youngest of three brothers, I have always been loved and cared for, but I have learned to manage my time, handle personal tasks, and take care of myself. When my mother is away on business trips, I often take the initiative to cook simple meals.
I also deeply care for and value my extended family, especially my grandmother and relatives. Family affection is precious, and although being away from family for studies will inevitably bring feelings of sadness and longing, I always remind myself that all today’s efforts are to build a brighter future.
Friendships and Memories
During my middle school years at Vstar, I made many friends of the same age. Group study sessions, extracurricular activities, and overcoming academic challenges together created memorable experiences. Although my energetic nature sometimes led to writing reports with friends, these moments taught me valuable lessons about responsibility and behavior in life.
Looking Towards the Future
The middle school years at Vstar have equipped Minh Đăng with a solid and comprehensive foundation. Academic knowledge, sports skills, life experiences, and lessons about friendship and family affection have helped me grow increasingly mature and confident. I understand that the road ahead is long and full of challenges, but with thorough preparation and determination, I believe I will overcome difficulties and achieve great dreams.
Every passing day and each experience build the foundation for the future, and Minh Đăng continues to walk this path with confidence and firm belief in myself! Keep striving, everyone; the future is welcoming you!
